Adam Robinson Says He's Back

Adam Robinson used the social media to inform Iowa fans and friends that he'll be back for this weekend's game against Northwestern.

Adam Robinson relieved worries of Hawkeye fans Monday morning with his Facebook status update. The Iowa running back posted at 8:37 a.m. central that it's a:

"NEW week. FRESH start. Oh and on a side note... I'M BACK!!!! LEGGO!"

Leggo means let's go for folks that aren't keeping up with what the kids say these days.

Robinson sat out Saturday's game against Indiana after suffering a concussion a week earlier against Michigan State. True freshman Marcus Coker rushed for 129 yards on 22 carries in his place during an 18-13 win in Bloomington.

Robinson, a sophomore, still ranks third on the Big Ten in rushing with 806 yards. He averages 100.8 yards per game and has 10 touchdowns.

Iowa Coach Kirk Ferentz said after the Indiana game that he expected Robinson to return to practice on Tuesday.

"If there's a silver lining here, he's well rested," Ferentz said on Saturday. "He got a week off. He hasn't been hit in a week and should be ready to go for the last three games."

Robinson also ranks fourth on Iowa in receptions with 16. He's got 254 receiving yards and a touchdown.
