Ott Picks Hawks Publisher
Posted Jun 21, 2011

Iowa pulled a player out of Nebraska on Tuesday when Giltner High Defensive End Drew Ott pledged his allegiance to the Hawkeye coaches.

Iowa added it's second recruit in as many days on Tuesday when 2012 Nebraska Defensive End Drew Ott verbally committed to the Hawkeye coaches.

Hawkeye Insider spoke with the 6-foot-4 1/2, 230-pound Giltner (NE) High product when Iowa offered him a scholarship earlier this month. He also held offers from Kansas State, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

Ott becomes the third know verbal commitment in Iowa's 2012 class, joining Mitch Keppy and Cameron Wilson, who committed on Monday.
