For the second year in a row, Iowa has picked up an Ohio defensive player of the year. Last year it was Bruce Davis, this year it is Division 3 defensive player of the year Joe Gaglione. Joe Gaglione, one of the most productive players in the nation on defense, has given his verbal commitment to play for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
