Jordan Cotton will be announcing his decision on Wednesday at 4:30. Down to Kansas and Iowa, Cotton recently took a visit to Lawrence to help make a final decision.
Staying true to his promise to get his choice out of the way before his season started,
Jordan Cotton
plans on announcing his college decision early Wednesday evening.
Cotton is expected to choose between the
Kansas
Jayhawks and the
Iowa
Hawkeyes. After a visit to Kansas a few weeks ago, Cotton came away quite impressed.
"My visit to Kansas went really well," he said following that visit. "I was impressed with the facilities and I was able to meet Coach Mangino for the firse time. I like him a lot, and I was able to talk more with Coach Blaney. It was just a good visit.
"The facilities surprised me a lot; they were just very nice. And my relationship grew with Coach Mangino. I also like how the campus is right next to stadium and everything."
The last time we spoke with Cotton about Iowa, he had great things to say about the Hawkeye coaching staff, particularly new receivers coach, Erik Campbell.
“I have great relationships with all the coaches there,” he said. “I really like Coach Campbell, the wide receiver coach, they have a great facility and great people to be around.
“They write me, Coach Campbell, Coach Morgan, and Coach Ferentz, they write me almost every day. I call Coach Campbell every once in a while, I go up there and stuff. I was up there a month ago for a one-day camp to work with Coach Campbell, I really liked it.
Check back tomorrow as we find out where Cotton might be headed.
