Iowa landed a big commitment on Wednesday when 2011 Ohio tight end Ray Hamilton pledged his allegiance to the Hawkeyes. Scout.com's 16th-ranked TE in the class nationally selected Iowa head of impressive offers, including Michigan, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and West Virginia, where his father attended.

2011 TE Ray Hamilton told Hawkeye Insider Tuesday that he verbally committed to Iowa from an impressive list of scholarship offers.

"It just felt right," the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder said. "It felt like the right time and it definitely felt like the right place. There comes a time when you just get that feeling and it felt like that for me."
