| Davis is one of the elite receivers in the Midland region, and it is because he brings a total package. He has some nice moves at times after the catch, but he has great control of his body and gets himself in a good position to pull down the tough passes. He has nice intangibles, but will really start to excel on the next level after being in an offensive system where he gets to work more on his receiving skills. |
| Biography: |
| Keenan Davis finished his junior season with 1,160 yards receiving on 81 catches for 13 touchdowns. He also had two punts returned for scores and one rushing touchdown. Washington High had an 8-3 record, reaching the state 4A quarterfinals; Davis says he can bench 210-pounds, squat 500 and has a 36-inch vertical jump.
Davis reports a 2.5 core GPA and awaits his June ACT results.
Davis: "I run good routes and I can go up and get the ball. I'm a competitor and I can't take losing. I just really always want to win. My mentality is that either I'll get the ball, or nobody gets the ball.
"Ever since I was a freshman our team would wake up at 6:30 am and go lifting and running as a team. It's just our routine. I want to get better at getting off the ball from jams. I also want to work on coming back to the ball on catches and get better position on it."
