Matt Roth Profile
The Miami Dolphins announced that they have activated linebacker Matt Roth from the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list and released tight end John Nalbone. Roth was placed on that list back on September 5, 2009 due to a groin injury. The 6-foot-4, 275-pound fifth-year veteran started 14 games for the Dolphins in 2008 and has a total of 23 career starts. He registered a career-high 53 tackles and 5 sacks in 2008.
Nalbone was the Dolphins' ffth-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Although he was on the team's 53-man roster, he was on their inactive list on game day each week this season. He's a likely candidate for their practice squad if he clears waivers.
